Established in 1682 by William Penn Chester county is now home to many communities that comprise part of the Main Line western suburbs of Philadelphia. With over 750 square miles of rolling hills and valleys, low unemployment, parks, and shopping its no wonder Chester county was ranked 4th Best County in the United States.
